Carlson Robotic Total Station
Introducing the Carlson CR2 & CR5 Fully Robotic Total Station
The new Carlson CR2 & CR5 robotic total staions offer advanced positioning technology that offer the most efficient way to survey. With Stream360's Scout, Track and Aim you have eveything you need for a one-person field crew.
Scout360 - Scans the entire working area within seconds to quickly find you.
Track360 - Provides continuous tracking of targets. Once locked onto a prism, the instrument will remain precisely targeted onto the moving prism.
AIM360 - The telescope is precisely aimed at any prism, without needing to look through the teloscope. Measurements are preformed automatically with constant and repeatable accuracy.
Imagine an instrument that provides you with a real flow of work in terms of efficiency, precision and comfort. There is no need for assistance, it is quick to set up and has many easy-to-use functions, simplifying the entire process even more. The Carlson CR2 & CR5 models provide everything you ever desired in your daily work. Wide angle search technology quickly locates the survey pole and once locked in, it continues to follow the prism as you move. Fully automatic measurements are executed by the press of a button on your remote controller.
Paired with a Carlson Allegro MX with Carlson SurvCE data collection software provides true one-man robotic surveying with complete control of all measurement tasks from the survey pole or from the total station.

Carlson Supervisor+ GPS
Introducing the Carlson Supervisor+ GPS Tablet Computer
The Carlson Supervisor Just Got More Powerful
MAYSVILLE, Kentucky, U.S.A. — The “SuperG,” the Carlson Supervisor+ GPS Tablet, is here. It’s Carlson’s popular Supervisor tablet computer, a super rugged tablet PC that can be used anywhere, upgraded to include an integrated high-precision GNSS receiver and providing wireless support for Bluetooth, 802.11, GSM and CDMA.
“The Carlson Supervisor has been field proven for more than 15 months now and has been a popular
Windows-compatible tablet computer to be used in the field, a truck, the office, really anywhere,” says Bruce Carlson, president of Carlson Software.
The Carlson Supervisor is designed to work on more total stations, robots, GPS systems than any other solution. Both the Carlson Supervisor tablet and the new SuperG offer the industry’s largest data collector screen – a full seven inches – that is sunlight viewable. They also supply the industry’s fastest data collector processor with 64 Gb of memory and 2 Gb of RAM. And this is all on a PC that weighs just 2.42 pounds.
Developed by Carlson Software to compliment its comprehensive line of land development and mining software, the SuperG allows surveyors, contractors, builders, engineers and many others to bring their office to the field or to the project, and vice versa, all live.
The Carlson Supervisor and the SuperG can both be used with Carlson SurvPC, which is Carlson’s popular SurvCE data collection software, enhanced and produced to work on a PC, and with Carlson Grade Supervisor, an easy-to-use software made for construction grade management.
SurvPC, which can operate natively on Esri®, .dxf,. dwg, .dxf. and .dgn, is fully integrated with Carlson’s office products, Carlson Survey, Civil, Hydrology and GIS. As an added bonus, these office software options can also be taken into the field utilizing the Supervisor or the SuperG.
Carlson Grade Supervisor allows site supervisors to get daily, weekly, or anytime volumes, track real-time cut/fill, plus both collect and stake points. Its ability to let grade contractors know their grade instantly means that accurate surface volumes can be determined. It’s also proven to help construction companies tighten their bid specs by providing fast TOPO capabilities so that volumes are computed for estimation before any dirt is moved.
The unit is fully upgradeable enabling users to start with the Carlson Supervisor+ base unit, which works with existing receivers, and then upgrade when the time is right. There is an option to purchase a three-year replacement warranty that covers everything except out-and-out abuse of the unit.

This webinar is presented by Ladd Nelson and was originally broadcast on April 21, 2011.
Utilizing Carlson SurvCE, Survey and Civil, Regional Sales Director Ladd Nelson will discuss/show the collection of survey data with an "Iowa Counties" field code list that has been based upon the Iowa DOT Get the power of Carlson Field-to-Finishcodes and conformed to National CAD Standards.
Ladd will use Carlson Survey to process data from SurvCE and routines in Civil to create a simple road network with the resulting .dwg and stake-out file uploaded back into SurvCE for field staking. The true and seamless field-to-finish for which Carlson Software is known.
Share the same coordinate data, raw data, field codes, centerline data; no conversions, nothing lost in translations between field and office -- this is a webinar not to be missed.

LotNet 06-12-2007
LotNet Video Presented On 06-12-2007
This webinar is presented by Scott Griffin, and was originally broadcast on June 12, 2007. In this webinar, Scott explores the all new LotNet functionality found in Carlson Civil and Carlson Survey. Scott demonstrates how to set up your parameters for lots, lay out the initial boundary and centerlines, and then let the software create a network of lots. Once defined, the lots can be easily edited, labeled and used to generate reports. This webinar is an excellent introduction to LotNet, and a great way to start using this powerful feature.
